Liz Cohen

With more than 30 years experience in disability, education and health sectors, Liz has developed Cara's new vision, brand and business model. Under Liz's leadership, Cara has welcomed record numbers of staff, employing more than 1100 people, grown revenue to more than $90 million annually and expanded into new regional areas of SA to support children and adults with disability. Liz, an innovative thinker, championed the development of an ERP system for the organisation using Open Source platform iDempiere – a first for the disability sector.
Liz is the 2020 SA Telstra Businesswoman of the Year “For Purpose and Social Enterprise”.
