Andrea Comastri

In 2017 Andrea joined a small team to create an innovative solution to chronically high unemployment of people with intellectual disability, Australia’s first social enterprise hotel. Adapted from a successful Italian model, Hotel Etico provides employment, training, independence and careers for young people with ID. Andrea worked single-mindedly toward this goal, giving his time, connections and unwavering belief. His collaborative approach and inclusive leadership built a passionate team of staff, directors and philanthropic supporters who made Hotel Etico a reality.
