Lidia Di Lembo

Lidia has experienced the tragic loss of her 19 year old daughter to suicide. The shock and devastation of this experience was the impetus for Lidia to channel her grief into helping others in suicide prevention, providing peer and lived experience support to those impacted by mental illness and bereavement. She has led collaborative effort within the sector by leading World Suicide Prevention Day forums to strengthen partnerships, identify solutions to work in integrated ways and advocate for those impacted by a dysfunctional system to have a voice and be heard. She is Co-chair of Postvention Australia, and other national and local committees to influence systemic change in suicide prevention
