Jennifer Fitzgerald

Jennifer Fitzgerald has made such a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. The people are among the most marginalized in Australia due to the effects of ableism which underpins our society. Jennifer has taken an organization based on a deficit model of disability to a social model where people with disabilities are not part of the problem but rather part of the solution. Jenny has shined during the pandemic, taking a lead to ensure that all the clients and staff of Scope were kept safe and beyond that she ensured that the mental health of everyone was kept under consideration.
