Sarah Hopkins is Co-chair of Just Reinvest NSW and managing solicitor of Justice Projects, an Aboriginal legal service in NSW/ACT. Sarah is an Australian criminal lawyer who has been working alongside the Aboriginal communities in Bourke, Moree and Mt Druitt to implement community-driven justice reinvestment initiatives and influence government to address the overrepresentation of Aboriginal young people in NSW prisons. This includes her innovative work over the last decade to work with Bourke leaders on the Maranguka Justice Reinvestment Project, the most advanced data-driven and community-led project in Australia. Sarah continues to break down silos in in the service, government and legal sectors.
