Jessica Kendall

Jessica built the Economic Media Centre and has led with the vision and strategy to build grassroots and community spokespeople’s capacity to shape policy debates in mainstream media. She has surpassed expectations with this ambitious project and skilled up more than 330 changemakers to get their stories into mainstream media. All the major television and print news outlets have featured Economic Media Centre spokespeople - shifting narratives on issues like gender equality, income support, housing, funding public services and racial justice at key media moments. Jessica also Co-chaired the Fair Agenda board and contributed to the Human Rights Law Centre board in 2021.
