Ghassan Noujaim

Ghassan is the senior operations manager for the Settlement Services International foster care service. He has extensive experience in community development, training, education, child protection and out-of-home care, having worked with DCJ and NGOs. His expertise in assessing and matching children to carers reflects his understanding of, and responsiveness to the importance of actively facilitating the maintainance of connection to the culture and heritage of the children and young people. Ghassan was also instrumental in developing the 'My Life and Me' cultural life story book and 'Covid-19 and Me'. Ghassan has received a 2020 Zest Award for outstanding community sector leader and 2021 CAPS child protection award.
