Executive director, Harding Miller Education Foundation

Cara is the founding executive director of the Harding Miller Education Foundation. She leads the foundation’s activities in supporting high potential girls with life-changing scholarships. The students supported have high academic potential, are experiencing socio-economic disadvantage and are studying at public high schools. In 2021 the foundation will support 475 students across more than 300 schools in every state and territory. Each student is supported with a package of educational resources valued at over $20,000 over four years and provided with personal mentoring from volunteer coaches. We work with universities, foundations, and corporations to create clear pathways to universities and professional careers. It is the most generous scholarship for public school students in Australia. Since its inception in 2015, the foundation has supported over 600 students.
