South Australian White Ribbon Ambassador and motorcycle enthusiast Ivan Phillips is a courageous advocate – passionate about raising awareness about domestic violence.

In August 2016, Ivan rode his motorcycle solo more than 15,800 kilometres around the full circumference of Australia in honour of his step-daughter, Tash, who was violently murdered after suffering severe domestic abuse attacks.

With only bare necessities strapped to his bike, Ivan’s Riding Free of DV ride took in more than 50 country towns and numerous events and media interviews – to help raise awareness about domestic violence and its impact on families in regional areas.
