Lali Wiratunga
Lali is compelled to help others by his 'why'. After his baby son, Lucas, had cleft lip reconstructive surgery, Lucas’ smile became Lali’s reminder of the positive impact that people of purpose bring to individuals, families and communities. This reinforces his commitment to strengthen the capability of the Social Sector through financial education, entrepreneurship and by driving innovation. Lali uses his strategic skills developed through an MBA with the AGSM at UNSW to help change makers in his roles as National Manager, Davidson Institute & Social Sector Segment at Westpac; Board Member, TAD NSW; Co-founder of SIMO, which creates secure technology platforms for people living with disabilities; as an advisor to Clickability, which helps consumers of disability services to make informed choices; and advising youth mentoring and empowerment organisations, the Raise Foundation and I-Manifest. He has a passion for connecting social sector leaders with business leaders, to help deliver solutions that create positive social impact.”
