Founder of Franklin Women

Melina is a research scientist, a start-up founder and mum-in-training to a fearless and funny little girl. Her career began as a vaccine researcher, which evolved to a career in public health because of her desire to see research lead to better and equitable health care.

 

She is the founder of Franklin Women, a social enterprise that has grown into an empowered community of like-minded individuals and organisations who are committed to creating a health and medical research sector where women thrive. This journey has allowed her to become a passionate advocate for collaboration, innovation and inclusion in science.
