Evidence confirms that extending state care to the age of 21 for young people in the child protection system has profound positive impacts. This year Victoria joined a handful of other jurisdictions across the world by introducing this significant reform in full which will transform the lives of generations of vulnerable young people. Home Stretch chair Paul has worked tirelessly to build the case for change, leading a huge group of stakeholders. Paul has successfully influenced multiple state governments to conduct trials, and Victoria’s initiative provides a blueprint for all Australian states to transform young lives for the better.
