Co-founder and chief executive officer of Life's Little Treasures Foundation

Shusannah has dedicated the last 14 years to building the charity up to what is now considered to be one of the leading national premature birth charities in Australia. Her passion and motivation is driven by her own experience, her daughter being born at 25 weeks weighing just 880 grams.

 

She has been instrumental in working alongside health providers in both the hospital and community sectors, to introduce programs and services to families, to ensure a total family centered care approach. Shusannah is committed to raising awareness of the complexities of premature birth. She takes part on medical advisory panels, research, is a speaker, author and recipient of the Pride of Australia Award.
