Vedran Drakulic
Vedran Drakulic is the CEO of Gandel Philanthropy, one of the largest private family foundations in Australia.
Having survived the war in Bosnia and arriving to Australia as a refugee in 1995, Vedran built a new life and is a true humanitarian, committed to promoting social justice and social cohesion. He has spent more than 15 years working in communications, marketing and fundraising in the humanitarian sector, with Red Cross in Australia and overseas, and with Oxfam Australia.
He managed numerous international aid appeals including the Asian Tsunami Appeal of the Red Cross, which raised over $100 million. He is currently the president of International Social Service - Australia, a board member of AMES, a member of the Committee of Management of the Hobson’s Bay Community Fund and an Australia Day Ambassador.
