Weh Yeoh
CEO and co-founder, Umbo

Over 2 million Australians need speech and occupational therapy, yet thousands of families in rural and regional Australia are waiting up to 18 months for these services. Weh co-founded Umbo as a social enterprise in 2018 to make allied health accessible within a matter of weeks for these families who need it most. Under Weh’s leadership as CEO, in 2020, Umbo grew from four to 15 team members, saw a 5,800 per cent increase in demand for digital practice training, delivered 1,000% more consultations compared to 2019, and helped hundreds of Australian families access therapy online.
