Yvonne’s impact on the social sector is both broad and distinct. As the CEO and founder of a volunteer-run organisation that supports people facing homelessness with their companion animals, Yvonne changes lives for the better every day. What began as a personal mission to provide food and veterinary care for pets in need has grown to encompass emergency boarding, foster care, social partnerships, and Victoria's first Pet Food Bank. But Yvonne is also leading a larger grassroots movement to shift community perceptions about people facing housing instability and the value that pets play in our lives.
